Abstract The biofertilizer potential of beneficial fungal and bacterial rhizospheric microorganisms and the use of phosphate rock in Coffea arabica var. Caturra in the nursery stage; located in building "C" of the Biofertilizers Laboratory UNET. Coffee seeds, variety caturra, were used. We handled 2 bacterial strains (17 and AB), 2 fungal strains (IR and VP), 4 microbial consortiums (IR17, IRAB, VP17 and VPAB) and 1 treatment without inoculum (TA). Chemical amendments were established with and without phosphate rock, from the Monte Fresco mines (Táchira state). Biometric variables were evaluated; height of the plant, number of leaf pairs and stem diameter, fresh and dry weight of the aerial part, radical and total. Chemical properties (pH, available phosphorus), biological properties and relative agronomic efficiency were determined. The results obtained without and with the use of the phosphoric rock indicate that the RFIR and RFVP treatments significantly increased the average of the height of the plant in 45.11%, in comparison to the SRTA, in the even number of leaves it showed a favorable tendency with SRIR17 treatment and stem diameter increased 42.4% with RFIR.The fresh and dry air weight were highlighted when applying the SRVP, RFTA RFVP treatments. Soil pH values were favored with treatments SR17 and SRVP17, increasing 5.6%, with the use of phosphate rock the greatest increase was observed with the RFIR17 treatment, as it reached a 6.30% increase in pH in the soil, compared to the control. For the available phosphorus, the SRIR17 treatment decreased the Pd but showed a tendency to increase the height of the plant; RFIR and RFVP treatments improved the availability of phosphorus in the soil, associating it at the same time with greater height of the plant. The EAR showed effectiveness of IR and VP treatments with 202% and 196% respectively, followed by 17 with 169%. The results found indicate that biofertilizers and the use of phosphoric rock in coffee plants, during the nursery stage, are an ecological tool for coffee farmers. Keywords: Microbial inoculants, coffee, agronomic efficiency, phosphoric rock.
